What is Finmode Alerts?
Finmode Alerts is a customizable notification system for stocks, watchlists, and portfolios. You define the condition — price, Finmode Score, earnings, dividends, or portfolio value change — and choose email, Telegram, or both. When the condition hits, Finmode notifies you so you can act without constant chart watching.
What alert types can I create?
For a stock or watchlist: Price Above, Price Below, Score Above, Score Below, Earnings Reminder, and Dividend Reminder. For a portfolio: Portfolio Value Drop % and Portfolio Value Rise %. Threshold alerts let you set the exact price, score, or percentage that should fire the notification.
How do email and Telegram notifications work?
Pick one or both channels when you create an alert. Email uses your Finmode account address and can be toggled in Settings. Telegram requires a one-time link with the Finmode bot; once linked, you can enable or disable Telegram notifications anytime.
Can I pause alerts or see what already fired?
Yes. Active Alerts lets you turn any alert on or off and delete ones you no longer need. History shows when alerts triggered, which channels were notified, and the message that was sent — so you can audit what happened after the fact.
Do alerts work on watchlists and portfolios?
Yes. Target a single symbol, an entire watchlist, or a portfolio when you create an alert. Stock and watchlist targets support price, score, earnings, and dividend types. Portfolio targets support value drop and rise percentage alerts.
